3D LASER SCANNING
DIFFICULT AND HAZARDOUS ACCESS
Health and safety concerns are quite rightly playing an increasing part in any project. In many areas of our industry there are times that surveying is extremely hazardous and we try our best to reduce our exposure to risk. Laser scanning offers an entirely remote form of surveying which can capture data quickly.
Using our laser scanner allows us to survey railway lines, busy road junctions and cliff faces without ever putting our surveyors in harms way. The sheer quantity of data collected means that having to revisit site is very rare, and this approach also minimises the need for site disruption - whether down to traffic control measures or even site shutdown.
Whether the target is full of traffic, surrounded by cliff edges or dangerous to get close to: laser scanning surveying offers a much safer, faster and therefore often cheaper approach.
